Our mission is simple, but challenging:
"To take the word of God and to show His love
to all members of our community"
In addition to the 'public face' of St. Thomas', our regular services, many members of our congregation are actively involved in linking their faith with service to the local community ( for example in involvement with youth groups, in support of local and national charities and in school governance).
This work is, of course, largely unseen, but without it our community would be a much poorer place.
With His help and guidance we shall continue and grow our presence.
Every year we divert 10% of our stewardship income to mission funds and hold fund-raising events such as our popular 'Spring Fair'. These funds enable us to support charities locally, nationally and overseas and to work with our link parishes of Chemnitz-Harthau (Germany), St. Barnabas, Nkoranza (Ghana) and Christ the King, Hillsborough, Carriacou (West Indies).
